What is Group Adult Foster Care

What is GAFC?

GAFC, or Group Adult Foster Care, is a MassHealth sponsored program. GAFC provides assistance with personal care services to eligible individuals, aged twenty-two years and older, with disabilities. Low-income Massachusetts residents and those living in approved subsidized housing are also eligible.

There is no cost for Group Adult Foster Care, for MassHealth patients who meet the eligibility requirements.
